Three shot dead in Manchester in separate gun attacks
Detectives are searching for the gunmen behind a deadly shootings that left three men dead in Manchester within a 15-hour period which included a brazen double murder at a business establishment along Manchester Road.
The victims have been identified as 40-year-old truck driver Nicholas Tomlinson of May Day District, Manchester, and 32-year-old labourer Chester Smith.
Reports are that about 8:45 p.m. on December 22, Smith and Tomlinson were at a bar along Manchester Road when gunmen entered the premises and opened fire, hitting both men before fleeing the area.
Hours later, at about 6:25 a.m., the body of 41-year-old Everol Richards, a maintenance worker of Villa Road, Mandeville, was found in the Brokenhurst district of Manchester with what appeared to be gunshot wounds.
Residents reportedly heard explosions in the area before Richards' body was discovered.
All three men were taken to the Mandeville General Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
The Major Investigation Division and the Mandeville Criminal Investigation Branch are probing the incidents.
